Kristin has almost completed the first semester of her senior year at Iowa State University in Ames. She has had a terrific experience with her classwork this fall, including a practicum once per week at a kindegarten in Des Moines. Kristin was home with us for her Thankgsiving break. We kept her busy (too busy) with helping us decorate our home for the holidays. We participated in Decatur's "Heritage & Holly" tour of historic homes, so Heather had extra decorations throughout the house. It put us in the Christmas spirit.

Like the other seniors, he had his senior portraits taken in August, just after his return from Japan. He's thinking about engineering or business, followed by law school. (That's why we found the above photo so humorous) We just returned from our first college trip. This one was to Purdue's "Golden Honors" day program. At this point we think that his list has been shortened to Purdue, Univ of IL and Iowa State.

My grandmother, Esther sent this photo to me within the last year or so. It was taken in 1933, when my father (Gordon) was only 3-4 years old. He's the little guy on Grandma's knee. Aunt Marilyn is on the other knee... she's a year older than my dad. I'm going to skip any photos of Heather or me this time. I can't seem to locate any of the most recent ones. We haven't changed much anyway. I'll add some to the next update of "Meet My Family".
