Houston, TX - -TSU competed in the Rice Invitationals, Saturday, September 16 in Houston, Texas. Top performers for TSU were Cicely Pinkston (13:17.17), Noeleene Harris (13:47.21), Ruth Milor (15:17.78), Brandie Edwards (15:38.36) and Capricia Majors (16:42.36). "I was very impressed with the way our ladies performed," Head Cross Country Coach Clyde Duncan, Sr. said. On the men's side, Shawn Bender was the top finisher for the Tigers (18:14.31). Following Bender were Joshua Hughes (20:24.63), Derrick Wilson (20:57.58) and Michael Thomas (24:31.24). The cross-country team will return to action, Saturday, October 7 at Prairie View.
