Houston, TX - -TSU competed in the SWAC Cross Country Championships Monday, October 30, 2000 in Prairie View, Texas. TSU finished seventh in the women’s division with 150 points. Alabama State won its first-ever cross-country championship with 71 points. The top finisher for TSU was Cicely Pinkston, who finished ninth with a time of 20:118. On the men’s side, Shawn Bender was the top TSU finisher, placing 18th with a time of 34:20.
