TSU Softball Sweeps Southern
Houston, Texas –Texas Southern softball swept Southern in SWAC action, 7-2, 2-1, Saturday, March 31 in Memorial Park.Davon Spates led TSU (15-17, 13-5 SWAC) with three RBI’s and Aisha Collins
went 2-3 with a double. Jenny Chandler pitched the complete game victory.
Game two featured a strong pitching performance from Tamaria Fleming with a one run four hit performance. Teakah Harrison scored both runs for the Lady Tigers and Erica Wade added two steals.
The two teams will play again, 11 a.m., Sunday, April 1 in a doubleheader at Memorial Park.
