Houston, TX - -Texas Southern split two SWAC contests this past weekend. The Lady Tigers defeated Alabama State 3-1, Saturday in the H&PE Arena. Charvette Lewis paced the Tigers with 10 kills and 13 digs. Krystal Washington added 41 assists and Rotavia Garvie added eight kills and six digs. On Thursday, Prairie View A&M defeated TSU in volleyball action 3-0 at Prairie View. With the loss, the Lady Tigers fell to 7-1 in the SWAC. Rotavia Garvie led the way for TSU with eight kills. Krystal Washington added 20 assists. Gabrielle Campbell led the team with seven digs. The Lady Tigers return to action in the SWAC Volleyball Tournament, November 7 at Arkansas Pine-Bluff
