TSU Wins Fifth Straight SWAC Contest Houston, TX - - Texas Southern won its fifth straight SWAC volleyball contest, Tuesday defeating the Arkansas Pine-Bluff Golden Lions 3-0, 3-1. With the victory TSU upped its record to 8-6, 5-0 in SWAC. Pine-Bluff fell to 3-16 overall. In the first game, Charvette Lewis led TSU with nine kills and eight digs. Krsytal Washington added 16 assists and Rotavia Garvie had eight digs. In the second match, Lewis added another solid performance with 11 kills. Aisha Collins added five kills and nine assists. The Lady Tigers travel to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, October 13, to play in the Southern volleyball tournament.
