Alcorn, MS-Alcorn State used a balanced attack with three players in double figures to defeat the Lady Tigers 66-62, Monday in SWAC action. Texas Southern fell to 3-5, 0-1 SWAC with the loss. Kamrica Turk led Alcorn with 12 points. Taresha Coleman and Uri Honeysucker added 11 points apiece. For the Lady Tigers, Kanesha Randle scored a season high 27 points and grabbed five rebounds. Rolanda Wilson came off the bench to score 12 points. TSU outshot the Lady Braves 48% to 40%. The Lady Tigers return to action, December 15-16 when they travel to Denver, Colorado to compete in the Pioneer Classic with Denver, Bradley and East Tennessee State.
