TSU Women’s Basketball Upset Grambling 67-56

HOUSTON, TX - Kanesha Randle led a balanced TSU attack with 16 points as the Lady Tigers (6-7, 1-3 SWAC) upset Grambling 67-56, Monday in the H&PE Arena. Yolanda Dixon came off the bench to score a career high 12 points and added five steals. Elonna Britton and LaTosha Thompson chipped in nine points apiece. TSU won despite being outrebounded by Grambling 48-45. The Lady Tigers outshot Grambling 35% to 26% for the game. TSU returns to action, January 20 at Arkansas Pine-Bluff.
