Lady Tigers drop Mississippi Valley 67-42 Itta Bena, Miss. — Kanesha Randle continued her strong play with 16 points and 12 rebounds as the visiting Lady Tigers defeated Mississippi Valley 67-42. TSU evened it SWAC record at 3-3 (8-7 overall) with the victory. LaTasha Thompson added 16 points and four assists. Rolanda Wilson scored 12 points, going 4-for-4 from the free throw line. The Lady Tigers jumped out of the gate strong with a 36-17 halftime lead. TSU shot 39% compared to 24% for the Devilettes. TSU returns to action, 5 p.m., January 27 against Alabama A&M.
