Houston, TX - - Texas Southern women’s basketball announces the signing of two recruits, shooting guard Jennifer Hickman and post Monique Cowan. Hickman, a 5-7 shooting guard from A. Maceo Smith in Dallas, Texas averaged 18 points and six rebounds. Hickman was the MVP in her district and helped her team advance to the regional playoffs. Cowan, a 6-1 post from Moss Point High School in Moss Point, Mississippi was an All-State and All-Gulf Coast selection. Cowan placed first on her team with 18 points and 10 rebounds
