Alonzo Bradley

Men's Basketball (1975 - 1977)

   

    

Bradley, a native of Utica, Mississippi excelled in basketball at Texas Southern University. Transferring to TSU from Utica Jr. College in 1975, Bradley's accolades include Team MVP, 1976 and 1977 All-SWAC and All-Tournament Team. In 1977, he was selected 1997 National College Player of the Year and NAIA Tournament Most Valuable Player and a member of the TSU/NAIA National Championship team.

     

A tremendous all-around basketball player, Bradley ended his two-year career, leading the Tigers to 54 victories. He scored 1,698 points, grabbed 553 rebounds and 198 assists. He played professional basketball for the Houston Rockets (1997-1980). 

     

Bradley holds two undergraduate degrees from TSU, Business Administration (1983) and Computer Science (1989). Currently, he is a Senior Systems Software Sustaining Engineer with Unisys.
