Can I link to TSU Tiger Athletics Online?
Yes, you are allowed to link to TSU Tiger Athletics Online. We do ask, however, that you link to the main page rather than a specific page inside the site. With reorganization, which occurs every now and then, page locations will move. If your site is frame-based, we also ask that our link opens in a new frame rather than in a frame on your site.

Can TSU Tiger Athletics Online link to my site?
In order to protect ourselves against NCAA rules violations, we do not provide links to any sites other than major media outlets (such as local newspapers and television stations). Occasional exceptions include smaller sport polls and other official collegiate web sites. The official legislation reads:

An institutional website may not provide a link or make reference to a noninstitutional publication's website, inasmuch as such an activity constitutes an endorsement and/or an additional athletics publication. While we try to respond to every e-mail that comes in through this site, there are several reasons as to why you may not have gotten a response. You may have typed the incorrect address in the reply-to category, or the e-mail may have been sent to the incorrect address. We will not respond to any emails that include foul or abusive language. Why can't I find any recruiting information on this site?
Due to NCAA regulations we cannot post any information on recruiting on this website. When coaches announce signees who have inked a national letter of intent, you can find that information on this site.

Why can't I find any information on [pick a sport] on this site?
You are probably looking for a sport that is not one of the 16 sponsored by the Athletic Department. A complete list of all sponsored sports (with links to each sport's homepage) can be found on the varsity sports page. If the sport is not listed on that page, it is probably a club sport that is sponsored by the Department of Recreational Sports.

Why isn't the web page being updated?
The web page is always being updated, usually several times a day. Scores and results are posted as soon as possible following the conclusion of the event. If you notice that a sport's home page has not changed in quite some time, try hitting RELOAD or REFRESH on your web browser. Some programs keep a copy of the pages visited to ensure quick loading on a return visit and will only change when the page is reloaded by the user.

I've heard rumors that [pick a sport] will be added as a varsity sport. Is this true?
Probably not. Beginning Fall 2003, Texas Southern University will incorporate a women's soccer program. There are no plans to add any men's sports at Texas Southern University.

Where can I find future schedules for [pick a sport]?
The best place to look is on the specific sport's home page, under the team information bar. If future schedules are available for that particular sport, there will be a "Future Schedules" link available there. Typically, football is the only sport that will publish schedules past the next season. Some sports, such as men's and women's basketball, do not finalize their schedules for the upcoming year until a few months prior to the start of the season. We try to get all the sport schedules (most are tentative) by August and post them on the web site. Check the athletic calendar portion of this site for links to all available schedules.

I've got information on a prospective student-athlete that Texas Southern University should know about. What can I do to let the coaches know?

Any requests for tickets or questions about your tickets should be directed to the Athletic Ticket Office. You can also obtain ticket information on this site by visiting the online Athletic Ticket Office.

We cannot give out specific e-mail addresses for an athlete. Should you want to get a letter to an athlete, send your e-mail to the editor with the athlete's name in the subject, and we will do our best to see that he/she gets it.

How can I buy an official media guide for [pick a sport]?
Media guides for all of the varsity sports are produced and published usually just prior to the start of that particular sport's athletic season. Information on purchasing these guides will be posted when it becomes
available, or, direct any questions you may have about purchasing media guides to the Texas Southern University Sports Information Office.
