The recreated old town was commenced about 20 years ago and has grown to be an impressive irreplaceable collection of general stores, butcher shop, salvation army citadel, picture theatre, coach depot, blacksmiths, automotive garages, hotel, hospital, dentist, newspaper office, millinery shops, chemist shop, fruit & vegetable palace, church, post office, bakery, photographers, boat builders factory, railway station ticket office, solicitors office, army recruitment office, hardware shop, boarding house, barbers, and many relocated settlers cottages, barns, other sundry use buildings, and windmills.
