• Crop Walk
  Oct. 12
  Crop Walk is a community-based fund raising event that is sponsored by the Church World Service. This year's Crop Walk will begin at 2:00 with registration at 1:30 p.m. from Boston Avenue Methodist. The walk is about 5 miles but we can go at our own pace and there are several water stops along the route. 75% of all money raised by our walkers will be designated to go to Outreach International; the remaining 25% will stay locally with the Tulsa Community Food Bank and other agencies. PAST EVENTS

• BLOCK PARTY, CONCERT, and LOCK IN
  We kicked off our Vacation Church School with a block party again this year. The Jolley Trolley Sno Cones were a huge hit, as was the Jupiter Jump and obstacle course. Afterward, we went inside to cool off and enjoy a concert by SNP. The Jr. High & Sr. High camped out all night at the church, where they played games and held an indoor campfire.

• SCUBA VCS
  This summer, Tulsa Central went 20,000 leagues under the sea as 33 kids and 27 adults took the plunge into Scuba: Super Cool Undersea Bible Adventure, this year's Vacation Church School program by Group Publishing. We learned about Elijah's showdown with the prophets of Baal, went inside a huge fish to hear about Jonah's adventure, and helped Scuba Doo (a diving dog) learn more about God as he learned about scuba diving. We finished the awesome adventure on Sunday with a closing service, where we shared what we learned with the congregation.
