Oto-Breda decided to not to attend the Turkish Tank-2000
mega-project with its Ariete Main Battle Tank. The company will not
response to the Request for Proposal of the tender. This
decision represents fourth withdrawn from Turkish Tank-2000 tender
after British Challenger 2E, Israeli Merkawa-III and Russian T-80.
