Question 3 (Hard-Shelled Turtles)
3A:Turtle has medium to high-domed shell, may or may not be keeled, one or two hinges on bottom of shell. Edge of shell smooth. Shell brown, tan or black, may have darker or lighter markings. On some species hinge may be hard to discern. Turtles usually have no stripes on head and legs, some may have white stripes on head only. Turtles rarely seen basking.
