The Twist
Chapter 12: Summon The Trickster
The sharpness of Beastmaster's fangs were horid, and bled with human blood. The taste she loved so very much...
Her body was covered in dark purple fur, that was flared with rage. She had to focus on getting her trickster. Can she finally do it?
She growled as she looked right into Xelloss. Her wolf-like body stood tall beside his, and she sniffed the stench of Filia.
  "Yes... Filia."
Looking deep into her angry eyes, you can see the image of Filia, laying in her soft bed.
  "Hmmhmmhmmhmmm." laughed Xellas.

Filia's chest lifted, and dropped, as her breathing continued on. It's been days since she's last seen the monster whom she missed so much. But those days left her thinking. Is he actually dead? No. Nobody can really die in the Slayers series.... unless ofcourse... it's in a Fan-fiic.....
Filia's chest now moved faster, and she opened her mouth to breath better. Something was wrong... She started coughing, and felt pain in her entire body.
She jolted up sweating, and had eyes wide with insanity.
The silence broke; at the sound of Filia's screaming.
"What was that?!?" shrieked Jillas, grabing onto Gravos.
  "FILIA!" they both screamed.
Running as fast as they could, they ran towards Filia's room. The screaming was louder as they reached her door.
"Open it! Open it!" yelped Gravos.
  "It's locked! I can't!"
  "FILIA! FILIA HANG IN THERE!"
"What's going on in there?!?!?! FILIA!!!!!!!!"
It sounded as if bolts of energy were being cast from behind the door, and Filia's screaming pain continued. Jillas screamed in horror, and held his head to try and think. The energy was so loud, and Filia was still screaming. What can they do!!??!!
  "HELP ME.....!" screamed Filia.
"Gravos! We have to help her! Knock down this door!"
  "But--"
  "DO IT!!!!"
"ALl right." he walked a few spaces back, and started running back to the door. "HHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAAA!!!"
  *BOOM*
  The door didn't break.
  "AGAIN!" yelled Jillas.
  *BOOM*
  "AGAIN!"
  *BOOM*
  *TRY HARDER!"
  "Why don't you HELP ME?!?!?"
They both walked back, and both started running.
  "HHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAA
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!"
  *KABOOM*
They broke in, but were shocked to what they found.
Filia's pain looked as bad as it was heard.
She was floating above her bed, being choked by black mist around her body, tying her arms and legs flat. Shed choked blood, which was sucked into a black void that disappeared elsewhere, and her face was getting whiter... and whiter...
"FILIA!!!!" cried Jillas, as he ran up to her. "NoooOOOOOOO!" As he tried grabbing her hand, he was wacked away by the mist.
  "FILIA!!!" screamed Gravos.
The screaming stopped, as Filia's eyes went blank.
Black mist danced around her body, until it was satisfied, and left.
Jillas watched closely, with anger, and heard something.
  Whispers.
"What is it saying?" he wondered.
"Thank... thank ... thank you... thank you.. thank you.... thank you."
His eyes widened, as the mist circled into nothingness. It was gone.
  "FILIA!" gasped Gravos.
Her mouth was full of black blood, and her face was white, almost transparent.
"Oh no... Filia.... Filia please... what happened...!? ANswer me!" Jillas shook her frantically. "FILIA! TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED!!! FILIA!!!! Snap out of it, Filia!"
Gravos imediately checked her wrist. "She's still alive!"
"She is..?" They both watched her closely.
She gasped, and chocked more blood. Although it was bad, it was still a good sign. She's still alive.
  "Yes!"
  "AHAHA!!!"
  "She's still alive!!"
"Woo hooo!!! I knew she'd make it!"
"And that's why you pissed your pants, Jillas?"
  "Shut-up." he whined.
"Ugh......" moaned the wounded blond. Her hair... her night gown.... her bed... her walls... everything. Covered in her blood.
"I'll get this place cleaned up." stated Gravos. "You comfort Filia."
"Sure. Get her a towel, too. Maybe a big shirt, too. She needs to get better."
  "Guys...." whispered Filia. "It's gone....."
Jillas leaned closer to her. "Gone...? What is?"
"My power.... His power..... Xelloss' power--" she coughed more blood.
"Filia.. don't speak. You need to rest. We can talk later." Although Jillas told her to stop talking, he badly wanted to know what she was going to say. Now's not a good time, anyway.
"His... he... that was all I had of him left... he... I'm...."
  "Filia, please. Please rest."
  "But... it's gone.... gone............"
  Gone.... Where....? Where.....

Xelloss let out a huge yawn, and stretched out fully in a white bed. He slowly turned his head to look at beasmaster, without opening his eyes. He smiled.
"Hi." he greeted stupidly, as he realized he was naked.
"Good Evening." she replied, looking down at him while sitting at his side. "I see your astral vision is back."
Xelloss took a good look around. A small dark room, with only the white bed giving off a tint of light. "Yes," he replied, and searched if he had more power. He grinned excitedly, as he felt it all there. Xelloss was Xelloss again. "My full power has returned to me!"
Xellas smiled. "Ofcourse." she stood up and walked over to a corner. "Dress up."
Xelloss sat upright and nearly knocked off the towel that kept him descent. "WHere are we going?"
  "
You are going to say hello to a friend of yours."
"Really? Which one?" the thought of Lina immediately entered his mind.
  "Filia."
  "Oh..." his face faultered.
Xellas silently chuckled and noted to herself that she accomplished taking away some of his feelings for her. "It's been weeks since you last saw her. She misses you alot."
"Really? That dragon-girl? That's interesting." he jumped off the bed while pulling on his pants, and sat back down to put his shoes on.
"She really likes you, and I can certainly see why..." she watched him closely, with a smile. "That sexy body of yours, your seductive eyes, your purple hair, your selective friends, all those secrets..."
  Xelloss turned to face her.
"It makes the girls want to find those secrets out, and that's another reason why they stick with you."
"Umm... Xellas...?" asked Xelloss with a little blush.
  "Mmmhmm?" she replied smiling.
Might as well just spit it out, thought Xelloss. "You're not falling for me, are you?"
"AHahahahaaha! Ohhh... Xelloss..." she walked closer to him and picked up his shirt from the ground. "Xelloss, I'm the one who created you, so consider me your mother." she handed him his shirt, and he smiled greatly.
  "Thank you, beastmaster."
She patted his head like a dog, and said, "Good boy."
He laughed, but then fell silent with w puzzled look on his face.
  "What?" asked his master.
"Well.. why do you want me to see Filia? And why did you bring me back after what I did with her?"
She nodded as if she knew that was coming. "First of all, I brought you back because I need you; you're still my best man. Second of all.... I know you, and I know Filia. So I know that I can let you two have fun."
Xelloss nodded, and put on his cape. The thought of Filia anf him having fun changed the expression on his face. "I'm ready." he sighed.
  "Okay." she smiled.
Xelloss walked away from Xellas, and looked back with a sly smile. "Thanks."
Beastmaster nodded, and watched him flash away to find Filia.
  She laughed. "What a fuit."
Xelloss flashed back and gave her a funny look.
  "Just joking."
The trickster shrugged, and flashed off again.
  "Not." chuckled the skimpy lady.
Xelloss didn't bother flash back. (The idea of seeing Filia was taking over his mind.)
