Jillas and Gravos were told never to ask what happened, and to never mention that certain person's name. Just the thought of him made her eyes water.
The way he looked at her last... the way he wanted to die in her arms... Is he dead? Filia still didn't know. All she knew was that he didn't come back from that day they killed that queen; that race...
Tears often fell from her soft eyes, whenever nightmares invaded her sleep. Not today. Today, Filia slept peacefully.
A sudden flash appeared silently beside the girl's bed, and revealed someone in a black cape, with dark purple hair. His eyes were shaded, but his smile was definately revealed.
"Filia--" he paused. What could he say to her? "It's been a while Filia! No.. that's not good... Boy, do you look sexy tonight! No.. not that either... Filia... Filia.. Filia.... I don't know what to say...!" he admitted with a shrug.
The blond still slept, and left the trickster sweat-dropping. "What a heavy sleeper..." he mumbled. He stood and was about to leave.... but thought deeply about the recent past...
"Xelloss... come back to me...?" pleaded Filia.
"Only if you do something for me, Filia. Please.. let me die in your arms..."
Filia sobbed, and didn't make any move to do so. "NO! I'll kill you! I don't want to kill you! I want-- I want to love you..." she confessed.
Xelloss didn't smile. He only shed another tear.
Xelloss's smile faded as he gently looked over his shoulder at Filia.
"You'll promise me you'll come back, right?" asked Filia.
There was no response.
"Right....?" repeated Filia, as she let go of him to look at his face.
Xelloss' head was limp, as the rest of his body......
Shaking his head from the picture, Xelloss narrowed his eyes in rage. 'How could I feel that way about a dragon! A DRAGON!' he cursed in his mind.
But as soon as he cursed Filia, all he could see was her in his mind. Her smile... her blond hair... her blue eyes.. her mind.... her power... her way of teasing him....
That last thought.. ahhh... how much he really missed that surprised him. Soon he'll be able to tease her again, but now--
The purple haired trickster turned to face Filia once again, and smiled. "Thank you, Filia-san." With that, he turned and disappeared.
But a soft hand held and disappeared with him...
Just as Xelloss realized, he was already in the astral plane. -_- You know... funky colours... black.. purple... yellow... blue... orange.... blobs... that kinda stuff! ^_^
"F-FILIA-SAN?!?!" yelped the trickster, and looked closely at her chest. "You've grown, haven't you?"
Filia jumped back shocked and angry, but turned soft, and hugged Xelloss tightly.
"Xelloss....." she whispered. "I missed you so much....."
Still quite shocked, Xelloss only had one question. "Why...?"
Filia didn't raise her head, but Xelloss knew she was crying. "Because... because I like you..." she didn't want to hear his reply, so she continued on quickly. "I felt the power leave me! I felt your power leave me! Xelloss... I didn't know what to think. If you were dead... I... I don't know what I'd do..."
"Why?" asked the trickster.
"Because! I don't think I can live without you!" blushing, Filia moved to face him. His eyes were closed, but she could feel his power; he's the one that took it away from her.
"Why?" repeated Xelloss.
"Because I like you!"
"Why??"
"B-BECAUSE!!!" Filia was irritated.
"WHY???" Xelloss asked yet again, with no expression what-so-ever.
"WHY DO YOU KEEP ASKING WHY?!?!" demanded Filia with question.
"Sorry! I don't answer a person's question, who answers my question with a question."
"WHY!!"
Xelloss fell-over, but quickly got up. "That was supposed to confuse you!"
"WHY?!"
"Oh come on, Filia. I was just playing!" he shrugged.
"WHY!!!!!?????????"
"Because!"
"WHY?!
"BECAUSE!!!!"
They were nose to nose both in anger.
"TELL ME WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" demanded the fuming Filia.
Xelloss grabbed, and pulled her close. "Because I like you."
His smile closed in on her innocent, and now silent face. She closed her eyes and moved slightly closer, feeling his warmth against her thin body. Just before their lips touched...
Filia slapped him.
"THAT HURT!" whined the fallen Xelloss. "WHAT WAS THAT FOR!?!?!"
"Here I am, waiting and wondering if you're dead or alive, and you just come here asking 'why?' 'why?' JERK! You deserved that!" folding her arms, she smiled proudly as Xelloss continued to whine.
"You don't slap a person right when their about to kiss you!"
"Who says!!!??!!"
"I--"
"Hah! I can do anything I want to a monster like you!"
"Awww...! Filia......"
"NO! I have nothing to say to you!"
The trickster smiled, and replied, "I missed you Filia."
The dragon looked at him with watery widened eyes.
He moved closer to her, and held her cheek softly in his blue hands.
"X-Xelloss...." whispered Filia.
The monster's eyes opened softly, and Filia was shocked to see care in them for the first time in her life. They shone instead of glared, and seemed incredibly harmless. Instead of evil, he looked oddly good. All Filia's doubts were washed from her mind.
His eyes covered her emotions like a gift about to be unwrapped...
He looked so..............
"SO CAN I HAVE SEX WITH YOU NOW?!?!?!" asked the now-very-excited-chibi-Xelloss.
"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT????!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????" Filia screamed and transformed into a dragon.
"FILIA!!! IT'S KIND OF HARD TO DO IT WHEN YOU'RE A DRAGON!!!" yelled Xelloss trying to calm Filia down.
"XELLOSSSSSSSS!!!! YOU'LL PAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Xellos sighed, "Well! Atleast I can still have fun!" he easily dodged her attacks, which made the dragon more furious.
"STAND STILL XELLOSS!!! I'LL GET YOU FOR THIS!!!!" she screamed blasting more blue beams out of her flared mouth.
"I'm coming dear!!"
"XELLOSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!"
"HAHAHA! Missed me!!!!"
Blast after blast, Filia missed and Xelloss laughed.
"I guess some things never change." concluded the watching Beastmaster.
