A SEED JAPAN
A SEED JAPAN(Action for Solidarity, Equality, Environment and Development/青年による環境と開発と協力と平等のための国際行動）は、1991年10月に設立された日本の青年による国際環境NGO（非政府・非営利組織）です。1992年6月、ブラジルで開催された「地球サミット（国連環境開発会議）」へ青年の声をとどけるため、世界約50ヶ国70団体が参加して「A SEED国際キャンペーン」が行われました。その日本の窓口として、全国の青年の声をまとめ、国連へ提言書を提出したのが始まりでした。そして地球サミットを終えて会員制度を有する団体として新たにスタートしました。

The staple food funded by The Hunger Site is paid for by site sponsors and is distributed to those in need by Mercy Corps and America's Second Harvest. 100% of funding from sponsor banner advertising goes to our charity partners. Funds are split between these organizations and go to the aid of hungry people in over 74 countries, including those in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and North America.

Child Health Site
Launched in October 2002, The Child Health Site focuses the power of the Internet on a specific need -- saving children's lives and improving the quality of their health. Over 200,000 children die every week from preventable causes, and many millions more suffer from preventable disease, cureable blindness, landmines and other crippling accidents. 

Animal Rescue Site
The Animal Rescue Site (www.theanimalrescuesite.com) was founded to help feed and care for some of the 27  million unwanted animals given to shelters in the US every year.  Since its launch in July of 2002, the site has established itself as a clear leader in online activism and a dynamic force in the effort to give all animals the happy, healthy lives they deserve.

Breast Cancer Site
The Breast Cancer Site was founded to help offer free mammograms to underprivileged women nationwide --  women for whom early detection would not otherwise be possible. Since its launch in October 2000, the site has established itself as a clear leader in online activism and in the fight to prevent breast cancer deaths. 

Surfrider Foundation
The Surfrider Foundation is a grassroots, non-profit, environmental organization that works to protect our oceans, waves, and beaches. Founded in 1984, Surfrider Foundation's most important coastal environmental work is carried out by Surfrider Foundation's 60 chapters located along the East, West, Gulf, Puerto Rican, and Hawaiian coasts. Surfrider Foundation now has over 40,000 members in the USA; in addition, International Surfrider Foundation chapters and affiliates have been established in the 5 foreign countries of Japan, Brazil, Australia, France and Spain.

The Rainforest Site
Originally launched in May 2000, The Rainforest Site focuses the power of the Internet on a specific ecological  need -- the preservation of the worlds rainforests. Individuals from around the world visit the site each day to click the "Save Our Rainforests" button and help rescue imperiled land. In just its first year of operation, The Rainforest Site generated funds to purchase and preserve over 5,650 acres of endangered land.
