Purpose And Integrity
It is restricting to accept as belief, that which is not known to be an absolute truth. I have also come to know that it is often best not to set yourself up in opposition to the belief's of others. In fact to do so is to act out of your own belief's. One of the most important things to be learned is; you can say just about anything to anybody, depending upon how you say it. People very readily define for you, the belief's they consider sacred, and define you according to the feedback they get in return. It is easy, having seen it many times, to determine how others view the world. A prime truth about belief is that, most people believe they must have a belief.
Politics is the manipulation of the beliefs of the masses by those who seek to gain and maintain power over the masses. The masses need to be lead but will only accept leadership from those who will profess to resolve issues within the framework of the beliefs of the majority. When there is no clear majority, turmoil and revolution or change will occur.
Groups will undergo incredible degrees of discomfort, oppression, if the majority still believe that those who rule will make things better. Often the scapegoats for bad times are the minority within a given group. When there are no minorities the group will turn inwards and become stricter in its adherence to the beliefs, persecuting those who are suspected of being less than pure in their practices and thoughts, or too conservative/liberal. Politicians are skillful manipulators at drawing public attention to others and away from themselves.
When outside sources of blame are absent, different factions within the group will seek to place blame on the other(s), until one gains the majority of public resolve. This is usually the political unit that was previously the minority. Under a new group fervor, all blame is placed on the deposed old rulers and the belief in a better future begins again.
