QT Dates Mandy Moore

2gether prepares for their charity concert by choosing animal costumes. Q.T. tries to go for the dragon, but it is quickly snatched up by Mickey. The same thing goes for the tiger, turkey, and spider, which are taken by the other members. Q.T. is left with the bunny costume, which he refuses to wear. Mr. Brummer then grounds him for not obeying his manager, which is unfortunate for Q.T. because 2gether has tickets to meet Mandy Moore. Back at the house, Chad is nervous about meeting Mandy Moore. Doug suggests that he find out what Mandy likes and talk about that. As Doug is on the computer, he discovers on eBay that a bar of soap that Chad used is going for fifty dollars. He realizes it's a great way to make some more money. Throughout the episode, Chad and Doug begin to sell some bizarre things, including Chad's old retainer and Doug's old jacket. The other guys leave for the Mandy Moore concert while Q.T. is stuck in his room. But he escapes and rides a scooter to the concert. Backstage at the concert, the guys are holding a sign that says, "We Love Mandy Moore." When Mandy first sees 2gether, she mistakes them for 98 Degrees. Chad is flustered at meeting her and starts to announce some of her favorite things as she stands confused. She asks about "the cute one" of the group, but Chad continues to act weird until 2gether finally leaves. 2gether returns home with some concert stuff for Q.T. When they enter his room, however, they find that he's gone. Some time later, he returns to the house and says that he was on a date with Mandy Moore, and he invited her to dinner the next night. The other guys are impressed and excited about seeing her again. Q.T. looks very smooth when the big date with Mandy comes. Then the doorbell rings and he opens the door. The other guys expect to see Mandy Moore, but instead another girl named Mandy is standing in their house. Q.T. doesn't know that she is not the real Mandy Moore, and the other guys don't want to hurt his feelings. At dinner, they try to avoid slipping the truth about her by singing "I Wanna Know Your Name" 13 times. She eventually leaves, but not before she agrees to sing at the charity concert after Q.T. asks. 2gether is horrified at this news because she isn't Mandy Moore, but they continue to hide the truth from him.  Backstage at the charity concert, Q.T. goes to Mandy's room and she offers to practice singing on Q.T. She sings horribly, and Q.T. tells the other members that Mandy Moore is a fake and must lip syncs her songs. He goes back to tell her that she won't be able to perform, and the other members are relieved. While Q.T. is looking for Amanda (who is making out with Mickey), he finds the real Mandy Moore, but he still does not know it is her. She tells him she's looking for a funny, down-to-earth cutie, and Q.T. wishes he was with her instead. She asks him out, but he thinks it's too soon for him to date again. He doesn't leave, however, until he softly kisses her on the hand. Q.T. finally agrees to wear the bunny costume, and 2gether once again gives an outstanding performance of "I Wanna Know Your Name."
