The Jafar Table

The Jafar table is the table is the Father's Table. With both Father's placed there, as well as the Emcee and other important guests. The camera did get around quite a bit though, as you will soon see.

This picture has nearly everyone in it, who is supposed to be there. Noticably missing is the Groom's Father. He must have just stepped away. Clockwise from left is, Groom's friend, Robert, Bride's Stepbrother Shane, Bride's Father's wife Paula, Bride's Father, the Bride's aunty Carolyn, Bride's Aunty Bess, Groom's Friend and Emcee, Todd, and his wife, Kathy.

These are the Infamous Aunties. They became everyone's Aunties at the wedding. They are the bride's father's Sister, Bess, and her partner in crime, Carolyn. They came all the way down from Detroit to make this a wedding where dreams come true. And they did an amazing job. All the decorations, flowers and coordinating were done by them. They came in like a storm, and took over the hotel. The hotel staff and nearly all the guests had taken to calling them "The Aunties." They were awe inspiring, and taught the Hotel many, many tricks. They were a force of nature, and could not be deterred. Everything they did was overwhelming. The bridal table, the cake table, the table settings, the wedding pavillion. This day was made beautiful by the sheer love and power of these two women. We send them all our thanks and aloha. We were truly blessed with this pair. And the hotel wants to know when they'll be back. And other's have asked if they could do their weddings, too. They were inspiring.

Now this is a picture that was set up by the professional photographer, but suddenly all kinds of cameras started flashing. The intent of the photographer was to get all the Kupuna of both families. What he didn't realize is that all the Kupuna was my family. So next thing you know, he's telling all the Aunties and Uncle's to jump in the photo. So this is actually a mixed family photo. A good one. The Groom's Aunties and their husbands, and the Bride's Great Aunties, and Great Uncles, grandparents, and mother. And of course, The Aunties. It was a great shot.

I've heard jokes of the possessiveness of the groom in this photo. Hmmmmm.

Now exactly how this picture got on this roll, I don't really care to know. But it's such a typical picture of Bridesmaid Jen doing what she does best in photos. Make faces. She has rice in her mouth, but I don't see the beer, Jen.
