Just a reminder for the 1942 show on May 24th
at the Denham Springs Train Station. 1942 now has a live journal; you
can check it out here.
Tis going to be a wonderful show. There may be another show coming soon,
so be on the lookout. The current members include:
Nathan Toups - Low End
Shelby Rushing - High End
Kyle Bailey - Talent
Ryan Rushing - Banging
Rob Mulhearn - Noise
Also, I added some bands to the related section.

Be sure to check out SOLA tomorrow night at the Music Box in Baton
Rouge. They're a really good band. They're heavy, but with a melody
too, so they're cool in my book. Here's their page:

Well, Napster is still up and
running for now. Two Month August songs are NOT blocked as of yet, so
if you can't find any TMA tunes, that's because no one has any on their
computers (sorry Leslie). Maybe someday...

A couple of important upcoming dates:
Wednesday, April 18: Shelby will be playing an open mic night
at the Vieux Carre Cafe in the French House at LSU. This thing is
supposed to happen every Wednesday night, and it's open for everyone
to attend and/or play who would like to.
Thursday, May 24th: 1942 and Hibbery Gibbery will be playing
at the Train Station in Denham Springs. This should be an interesting
show and it's free, so mark your calendar now.

Tim and His Loser Friends performed tonight at the Livingston Parish
Fairgrounds for the Relay for Life, sponsored by the American
Cancer Society.
It was a good show aside from the fact that we got booed off of the
stage. Allow me to explain. There was this group of little kids on the
side of the stage who had been giving me dirty looks the whole show.
I think they were waiting to get onto the stage for some reason or other.
Anyway, we were down to only one song left and I made the announcement,
"Okay, we've got one more song to play for y'all." All of
the sudden, all these kids shout, "NO!" at once. We ended
up playing our last song anyway.
The funniest part about the evening, however, was the soundman, who
smoked Marlboro Lights throughout the entire show.

WATSON, LA -- After being at work for over
seventeen hours yesterday, Eric Carpenter, a member of the rock band Two
Month August, came home to an empty garage, and was forced by faceless
government minions to mop the floor until his arms fell off.
