PAIN OF LOVING

Life sucks, it drains and destroys all you hope for
It sets you up and then lets you fall, not caring if you hurt or not
It brings you your greatest desires then takes it away
Life kicks you when you are down and drags you down when you are up
Pain and hurt is all you can count on from life
The short amount of love and joy is quickly devoured and removed
Life, is it worth it to remain, to let it happen over and over again
Should you just learn to keep your heart closed and locked
In and away from sorrow and hurt
Well to enjoy life you have to have love
And when you lose love you lose life
Wonder if it should be ended at the first cross of pain
Or continued in the hope that it will come to you again
The heart is the only thing that matters
Without it you have nothing to live for
But without love it has nothing to live for
So just end it and then never let it trouble you again
