This is all about Derek. Derek was born in Greenfield, Indiana, on September 4, 1991. Derek is now 16 years old. Wow how they grow! Derek is a very very energetic kid. And trust me he has his very own personality. Derek has come a long way with alot of stuff, such as school, temperment, and responsibility. Derek makes friends very easily. And his teachers all have said that he loves to make a new friend. He has some pretty good friends that live here in our neighborhood. And he has few good friends at school as well. He is pretty social.

Derek has decided that he would like to be a mechanic, but I am sure that idea will change in time. I can tell you that he loves cars!! He loves Nascar! He also like to play video games, and he likes to draw. He also likes the game Magic. Derek loves to ride his bike, and play some sports as well.

Derek has been in applied classes in school, because of some learning disabilities that he had. Now he is free from those classes and is in regular classes. He started out in speech because he had a stuttering problem, but now his previous bout with stuttering has almost completely dissappated since he had been in speech classes. I know that Derek can accomplish whatever feats he wishes if he tries hard enough and stays focused.



Derek, I love you sweetie with all my heart. Your are my sunshine on a cloudy day! I know you can accomplish anything once your set your mind to do it. You have made me very proud with all that you have accomplished already in your short life.

You just keep working hard like you have been and you will go far in your life. You are a wonderful young man! I have been so blessed with your presence. I never thought I would have a boy, and when they showed me my boy shortly after your birth, all I could do was thank God above for such a bundle of Joy.

You just keep working hard, and you will accomplish every goal that you set for yourself, and always remember, Dad and I are very very proud of you! I love you sweetheart!!

Sept, 04, 2004--Derek is a teen!!!! He got a new computer for his birthday! He loves it because now he can play all his faves on the puter! Derek also recieved this gift from my very sweet friend Kath M. Thank you Kath!
