Farm-to-Market Highways of Texas.

Texas is the only state in the union to have Farm-to-Market highways. These routes are found east of U.S. Rt. 281. The shields marking these highways say "Farm Road", but the actual designation is "Farm-to-Market". The first FM highway was created in 1936.
