CAREER PATH:

After joining the New Zealand police force at 19, served two years as a constable in Auckland City. Trained as an armed offenders squad member (NZ Police are unarmed), and from there went into the canine unit. Current dog is Keila, who is undergoing a crash course in virtual police work. (Her bio follows).

Studied criminal law and psychology at Auckland university, and after graduation, (I studied while on the job), joined the Plainclothes division.

Served on the Homicide, Serious Fraud, and Drugs Squads. Applied to the DEA for assignment in Thailand, where I became involved in tracking a serial killer through Bangkok.

Through contacts in the DEA, applied for the FBI, Quantico course on profiling, under the Interpol agreement for training overseas police in specialized criminology. (Believe it or not, there have been No recorded serial killers in NZ!)

Was contacted by Y files SAC early this year after my work on an international kidnapping ring, and a paper I wrote on bio-terrorism.

Have been a Special Agent for only a short time, having just completed my first case. 

Hobbies are martial arts (black belt in Aikido), and reading.

Have made many new friends since joining the Y files, have annoyed AD Skinner on at least five occasions, and have had to refill my gun clip 10 times.

Agent Keila is big, sloppy and will eat any food left out in the office. Has been on park patrol since eating AD Skinners lunch last week.
She is an excellent tracker and retriever (only ,if sent to retrieve edible items, she brings them back in her tummy).
Strong swimmer, and a loyal partner on any case.

Once she gets to know Agents, she is free to accompany any of you on your case should you require canine skills.
