Chapter 1
“Give it up kid,” the dry voice said as cold blue
eyes
traced the arena, an exquisite white Beyblade spinning in the dish as
another
buckled from the pressure.
A smirk touched lips as he saw the horrified face of the
child, his blue hair falling in his face as he yelled for his bit beast
to
fight back.
“Dranzer! Attack him now! Dranzer!”
“Let me guess, this is your first real battle?” The
man
chided Kai as he stood there. Kai knew he was being obliterated by such
a
powerful opponent but he couldn’t give up. He knew his
grandfather was watching
him.
Slowly his crimson eyes landed on the man. Sure, he was only
perhaps fifteen but he had an air about him, as he stood there in his
richly
tailored clothes, white with the insignia of Kaiba Corp. on its collar.
His
chestnut hair stood perfectly in place as he stared straight, his
chiseled jaw
set and determined as his ice-cold blue eyes that gave him his blader
name set
on him. Blue Eyes.
“Shiroiryu! Tyrant lightning!”
Blading is for babies.
Joey sighed as he lowered his head. That’s what he had told
Tyson so many times even though it was a lie.
He glanced once more at his watch just to tap his foot
impatiently. “I’m not his secretary, he should know
he’s supposed to be blading
Andrew right now.”
Joey’s ears perked up on the sides of his head as he heard
the sound of Tyson running down the steps inside the house. His tail
gave a
brief wag as the door was thrown open.
“Man! I am so late!”
Joey was on the bluenette’s heels without a second to waste.
“I could have told you that.”
“Hey! Joe! I’m the blader, you’re just
the pet, so shut up,”
Tyson rolled his eyes as he ran down the street.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if he turned you down
after this,”
Joey snorted as the blond fur of his tail waved in the wind.
“Come on! Hurry it up!”
“Where is Carlos,” the mysterious leader of the
Blade Sharks
said as he sat in his seat before his team, almost like a throne.
“He’s on gathering. He’ll be back
shortly.”
Kai smirked, letting it show on his lips as he tapped his
fingers lightly against his lips. He was like a king to his followers;
but
still, it wasn’t enough to feed his thirst for power.
He wanted, needed more power. He wouldn’t be satisfied until
he had it all. They greatest power was the power over life and death.
In the
end he was determined to hold a life in his hands and crush it like a
moth.
“Hold on Tyson!” Joey yelled as he added a burst of
speed to
his run in order to keep up with Tyson. His long strides kept up with
his
friend’s energetic gait until Tyson tore up a series of
steps, bursting out
into the encaged basketball court.
Andrew was standing there, his head turned down as another boy
stood there, his back to them.
“No blading today Tyson, another time maybe,”
Andrew said as
he gave a forced smile.
“What?” Tyson echoed as he stood there. Joey
grabbed Tyson’s
arm, pulling him over.
“Let’s go Tyson, another day perhaps.”
“No way!” Tyson wrenched away from Joey’s
grasp and grabbed
Andrew, demanding his battle.
“Didn’t you hear him kid, get lost.” A
voice sneered from
the boy turned away from them.
A low growl escaped from low in Joey’s throat as his ears
flattened to his head and both his hair and his fur stood up.
“Who do you think
you are!” Joey exploded as he stood there, clenching his
fists.
“Carlos,” he sneered as he turned towards Tyson,
slicking
his black hair down. “Maybe you should put a leash on your
pet there.”
“You should learn your place and stuff that gag back into
your mouth. People like you really piss me off,” Joey snarled
as he stood
there.
“And who’s going to teach me? You?”
Tyson narrowed his eyes as he caught sight of the huge bag
on Carlos’ shoulder. He saw the beyblades in it and his fists
instantly
clenched tightly. This guy was stealing beyblades and there was no way
he was
going to stand for it.
“Hey! You! That can’t be yours!”
“Well, then I must have picked up the wrong bag at the
cleaners. Of course it’s mine. All these beyblades belonged
to losers who
thought they could blade.”
Before Tyson could do anything the snarl caught in Joey’s
through as he jumped at Carlos. Tyson had no time as Joey caught Carlos
across
the chest, never giving the boy enough time as he latched onto his
clavicle and
the sharp fangs dug into his skin.
Tyson grabbed Joey’s shirt collar and dragged him back off
Carlos.
“Filthy beast,” Carlos snarled at Joey as he stared
at
Tyson. “You, me, winner gets the beyblades and
yours.”
“Let’s go,” Tyson snapped until a small
boy came up in front
of him.
“Tyson, look at this,” Tyson stared in shock as he
looked
strangely at the boy, holding up a portable beystadium. Truth be told,
he had
no idea who this kid was.
“Whatever,” Tyson muttered as he held
Joey’s shirt collar
tightly. He didn’t know what his best friend would do and he
didn’t trust to
let him go either.
“So are you ready to go,” Carlos taunted as Tyson
snarled at
him.
Right when Tyson was about to answer he felt a sharp pain in
his shin. He gave a strangled cry as Carlos stared at him. It
hadn’t been Joey,
no; he was still standing there, his hair and fur on end and a snarl
deep in
his throat. He wouldn’t have stopped Tyson from facing
Carlos. In fact he looked
about ready to take on Carlos himself.
It was the kid that had been talking to him who had kicked
him. “Well,” Carlos asked smugly.
“Anytime, anywhere,” there was a sharp kick to his
shin
again.
“Tomorrow, at noon,” Carlos snapped as he turned
around and
stormed off.
“What are you doing?” The boy exploded as Carlos
disappeared
from sight and Tyson released Joey’s shirt collar.
“Huh, who are you?”
“Kenny, but everyone calls me chief. If you had seen the
match you would have known that you’re no match for
Carlos.”
Tyson smirked, completely ignoring Kenny. “Maybe any other
kid but not me chief!”
“He has a much heavier blade so no one can knock him
out,”
Kenny explained as he held his computer up for Tyson to see. His jaw
dropped as
the beybattle played itself on the screen. “Look at the two
blades, Carlos’
blade is staying in the middle and Andrew’s is circling
it.”
Tyson looked shocked as he saw Andrew’s blade bounce away
with ease. “How?”
“The only way is to make your blade four ties
faster,” Kenny
explained.
“What?”
“Let it rip!” Joey yelled out as he pulled his
ripcord,
sending his rust-colored beyblade sailing across the air and into the
dish. It
clanged hard as clashes of metal echoed through the room. The beyblade
crashed
hard against the refined white one, sending it sailing back.
The white beyblade was on the rebound, rounding on his as it
curved elegantly, sending Joey’s beyblade crashing back.
“Iru! Attack!” Joey called as his blade rounded,
crashing
against the white one, sparks flying as they ground against each other.
“Your Iru is quite formidable for a handmade trash blade but
it is nothing compared to the raw power that I hold,” the
blader said calmly.
“Yes coach,” Joey whispered as he nodded his head.
He hated
being denounced like this after a lifetime of blading but still it was
his only
hope. The President of Kaiba Corp. was a ruthless coach and competitor.
He was
the undefeated Blue Eyes and no one could hold a candle to his skill.
“Control this blade as well as your Iru,” Kaiba
said as he
tossed Joey a beyblade. The Inu-jin caught it with ease as he turned it
over in
his hand, rubbing his fingers against the smooth, unscarred metal. The
beyblade
had never been used, that much was obvious, as Joey stared at the red
streaks
that shot through the black metal of the blade and the blue bit chip
that sat
it the middle, a ferocious black dragon leering out, as if ready to
devour its
next meal.
Joey snapped the blade into his shooter as he threaded the
ripcord through, his attention never wavering from Iru as he pulled the
ripcord
with all his strength, sending the beyblade flying. The grace with
which it
flew was amazing to Joey as he stood there as the black blade curved
towards
the white one, automatically responding to his thoughts.
“You must be quite skilled, that Kuroiryu would listen to
you so willingly,” Kaiba mussed as he watched Iru and
Kuroiryu circle his white
blade. He smirked as he remembered the day Kuroiryu and its brother bit
beast,
Shiroiryu had come to life. They had been a simple program he had
created in
his spare time until they had come to life and targeted two spare bit
chips.
Though he had sworn of blading forever Kaiba had turned around and
meticulously
created two beyblades worthy of these great beasts. While Shiroiryu had
served
him loyally Kuroiryu was untamable, a great dragon never to be
harnessed, until
now.
“Fall back on instinct, and let Kuroiryu do the
rest,” Kaiba
instructed as Joey took a deep breath and both Kuroiryu and Iru went on
the
attack, curving around and blocking Shiroiryu into a corner.
“Iru! Kuroiryu! Attack!” The two blades pounded
Shiroiryu
mercilessly, sparks flying as they ground. However Kaiba was not the
least bit
worried as he stood there, calmly.
“Shiroiryu,” he said calmly as the bitchip of the
white
blade began glowing, a huge white dragon reaching out into the air as
it roared
its defiance.
Joey set his jaw tightly as he focused intently on the two
beyblades that spun freely towards Shiroiryu. Kuroiryu instantly went
for the
kill against Joey’s wishes as Iru hung back, the battering
commenced. Kuroiryu
didn’t last more than a few moments when it went sailing
through the air and
landed safely in Joey’s palm.
Iru however lasted longer, but not too much longer.
“You’re
good, there’s no mistaking that. That blade, Kuroiryu, is
yours,” Kaiba said as
he sighed. “However, you must earn it before you are allowed
to use it.” A
nasty smile twitched on Kaiba’s lips as he faced Joey.
“There’s a blader in the
next tournament, I want you to defeat him.”
Joey gave a slight nod of his head. Tyson never went to
tournaments so that meant his secret would remain safe.
“His name is Kai, Kai Hiwatari, and I want you to crush
him.”
Chapter 2
Kenny gave a sigh as he sat on the steps beside Andrew.
Every few moments he would turn his head and glance to see if Tyson was
approaching but each time was a disappointment.
“You think he’ll show, Andrew?” Kenny
quested as he looked
at the other boy.
“He’ll show Chief,” Andrew assured the
smaller boy as Joey
opened one eye from his position against the wall.
“If you say so,” Joey muttered as he eyed the other
boys.
His ears perked up slightly and his tail instinctively wagged as he
heard the
sound of running.
“Sorry I’m late!” Tyson yelled as he
tripped and stumbled to
a stop.
“You need to work on your entrance,” Kenny chimed
in as he
eyed Tyson, bruises decorating his face.
“He better work on walking first!” Tyson only
passed a glare
back at his friend, eying him, an annoyed glance worming its way across
his
face.
“Harhar, very funny. Let’s see who’s
laughing when I take
you in to get fixed!”
“I’m surprised you actually showed,”
Carlos drawled as he
leaned back against the steps.
“Prepare to be destroyed,” Tyson mocked as he stood
there,
his arms crossed over his chest.
Carlos yawned as he leaned back against the steps. “Will you
quit wasting my time with amateurs already.”
“I will defeat you,” Tyson boasted as he whipped
out the
longer rip chord, which caused Carlos to raise an eyebrow.
“Do you think you’re the only one to come up with
that
strategy,” Carlos taunted as he stood up, his eyes scanning
each and every
person there.
Joey’s hand dug into his pocket and tightened around the two
blades, Iru and Kuroiryu, either one could defeat Carlos with ease but
he knew
he couldn’t fight Carlos’ amateur skill while
others were there. He needed to
keep his secret for a little bit longer. No one could know, not until
the
tournament where he would tear down this Kai.
Back home he had faced people so much stronger than Carlos,
but he wasn’t his enemy. He couldn’t waste time on
such a lowlife.
Carlos’ lips twitched into a sickening smile as he stood up
before Tyson. “Be a good little boy and run away, just like
the rest of your
friends.”
A laugh exploded from Tyson’s mouth as he held his beyblade
out, aiming and preparing to take Carlos out. That was when Joey
developed a
headache. Carlos may have been an amateur but Tyson was even more of
one.
Joey watched closely as both boys released their beyblades.
Tyson however had started from further back, running and jumping before
releasing his beyblade. Whatever it was it couldn’t even
possibly approach a
strategy. But it seemed to help for it didn’t take long for
Carlos beyblade to
go flying from the dish.
“Lucky shot,” Joey muttered. He didn’t
pay attention to the
actions, the fumbling between Carlos and Tyson for the beyblades; it
didn’t
matter until the commotion began.
However Joey’s first clue was the distinct smell of feat
permeating Carlos’ body as he looked up towards the hill.
“It’s-it’s you he
whispered in fear as he dropped the bag and prepared himself to run. He
needed
to get away and fast.
That did not help Carlos though as the figure walked calmly,
he held an air of command around him, the white scarf waving behind
him.
“Please don’t!” Carlos blubbered as the
other hit him, his hand hitting with a
resounding smack.
Carlos rolled as he hit the ground, stopping before Joey’s
feet as Joey felt his fur standing on end, a growl emitting from low in
his
throat.
“Just who do you think you are!”
Crimson eyes targeted unwaveringly and Joey instantly felt
himself grow warm. To say the other boy was beautiful would be an
understatement. Blue hair ruffled in the wind as deadly eyes targeted
Tyson.
His muscles flexed naturally with every movement as a nasty smirk made
its way
across his face. “The name is Kai.”
Kai, the sound of the name pounded in Joey’s ears as he paid
no attention to Tyson losing his own battle against Kai or the
quivering of
Carlos as he lay by his feet. This was Kai. This was the one he was
going to
defeat.
Chapter 3
Gold eyes slid open as he blew a piece of black hair out of
his face. Rocking back and forth, Ray’s head brushed against
the ground.
“If you don’t sit up all the blood will rush to
your head,”
Mr. Dickinson chided the young Neko-jin, however he ignored him and
continued
to lie sprawled across the bed, his head towards the floor.
“That’s not a worry Mr. Dickinson,” Ray
smirked. “I’m gonna
take a walk.”
Ray got to his feet as he stretched, covering a yawn with
his hand. When it came to going into heat it seemed he had the worst
timing. He
grabbed a pop from the fridge as he headed out of the room.
The tournament would start tomorrow, the one that would
select the BBA’s new team, and possibly his new team.
There was a loud thump as he felt something hit him and he
lost his balance, hitting the ground. The pop can rolled across the
ground,
nearly empty for most of it was on Ray’s clothing while the
thing that
attacked, or closer to it person, blinked his eyes confused as he
looked at
Ray.
Ray swallowed hard as the boy stood up and helped him to his
feet. This was the last thing he needed, especially as his mind told
him to
jump this boy.
He was not bad looking, not at all, at least there was that.
He had had sexual dealings with some ugly people. No, this boy still
had a
chubby face from youth; brown eyes wide and ready to take on the world
and a
mop of blue hair that was hardly considered organized all hidden under
a
baseball cap.
“Sorry,” the boy blushed brightly. In
Ray’s mind he looked
even cuter when he blushed.
“Why don’t you come home with me so we can get you
washed
up. It is my fault.”
Ray’s mind screamed at him to refuse. He would never be able
to stay anywhere with this boy and remain sane but his body screamed at
him to
follow. “Sure,” Ray forced a smile.
Joey twisted Iru back together and grinned at it. It had
been his father’s blade so long ago but it was high time he
put it to rest.
“Just one more battle Iru.” He smiled as he glanced
into the
bag by his feet, staring at the three custom built beyblades inside.
His team,
the Silver Wolves, wouldn’t be second rate anymore. Not with
their new
beyblades.
But he couldn’t think of that right now he reminded himself
as he shook his head and yawned. First he had to get past Kai, the one
who had
been haunting his dreams since he had laid eyes on him.
Joey stretched as he glanced out the window at the setting
sun. He would dream of Kai again, and he would enjoy it. He would dream
of him
until he had him and once he knew how he was he would leave.
That was the way it had always been even though day after
day he thirsted for some one to love.
Joey sighed. Guys like him didn’t get love. They got used
and abused unless they take control. That was the first lesson the
street had
taught him.
He stretched his legs out as he grabbed the beyblade from in
his pocket. This was real joy, a new beyblade in his hand that he knew
he could
take the world by storm with.
Only one thing was left now. He had to defeat Kai and his
Dranzer. He had to defeat the one man that made his heart pound like
never
before.
He would become the next champion. He had trained his entire
life for the day that was quickly approaching. He would defeat Kai,
even if it
was the last thing he did.
“Uh here,” Tyson said as he gave Rei a long t-shirt
but he
hadn’t been able to find any pants that had fit the Neko-jin.
“Thanks,” Ray said with a nod as Tyson pointed him
towards
the bathroom.
As he shut the door Ray pulled the sticky clothing away from
his body and slid on the shirt, pulling it down as he stepped out of
the
bathroom and handed Takao his clothing. The bright blush crept over his
cheeks
as he slunk out of the bathroom, the large shirt sliding of one
shoulder and
the bottom hem of the shirt showing off a peculiar feature, or at least
a
peculiar one to Tyson. It was a long black tail.
Tyson watched the other boy glance around and his own tongue
licked his lips as Ray’s tail flicked back and forth, showing
bit of his bare
flesh.
Tyson had always been interested in men, ever since
stumbling in on his brother experimenting with his best friend.
Naturally he
had been curious but Hiro wouldn’t talk about it. It confused
Tyson that his
brother had been so tight lipped about it and only learned that it was
because
of their father’s presence. Their father was a homophobe who
had raised two gay
sons. It had been hard for both of them every time their father came
home but
not near as hard as when Hiro left and never came back.
“You hungry,” Tyson quickly asked, trying to get
his mind
off the tail and the shirt that showed just enough of the other
boy’s long
legs.
‘Sure but not for food,’ Ray’s mind said
as he watched the
effect he was having on the bluenette take hold of him.
Ray padded over towards the boy, slowly, his eyes tracing
over his body. “I never got your name.”
“Tyson,” the bluenette said quietly and gasped as
Ray
grasped his hips.
“Tyson,” Ray whispered in his ear. His black tail
flicked
forward, ducking under Tyson’s shirt and sliding down his
pants, the fur
rubbing against the bare skin. He knew he shouldn’t be doing
this but with his
member aching and his body lusting after any warm body he had lost any
ability
to control himself.
“Tyson!”
Chapter 4
Ray could see the glare directed towards him and he knew
perfectly well who it was that was doing so but before he could say
anything
the Inu-jin had jumped at him and very physically booted him out of the
house.
Tyson was on his hands and knees gasping as Joey forced Ray
outside. Ray blinked as he saw Joey’s hair bristle. The
Inu-jin narrowed his
eyes and a snarl erupted from his throat.
“Stay away from Tyson,” the threat was understood
well as
Ray stared at the other. Gold met brown in a full out battle, neither
jin
willing to back down.
Joey was the first to break as he turned, disappearing back
into the house with a flick of his golden-furred tail.
Ray sighed, his black tail flicking back and forth as he
stared at the closed door. Normally he would try Tyson again later,
knowing
full well just how irritable Inu-jins, and specifically that one could
be. But
there was a problem. Tyson still had his clothes.
Ray gave a growl as he looked down at the shirt that barely
covered his body. He needed his clothes back and there was only one way
to get
them. He sat down, leaning against the door and let loose a loud,
yowling meow.
“Joey?” Tyson blinked as he watched his friend. He
had a
feeling that the Inu-jin was keeping something from him, almost as if
he knew
the boy with the tail.
“Forget it,” the blond grumbled as he turned and
walked away
from Tyson, his tail tucked between his legs and his ears flattened to
his head
as he ran towards the back door.
He tilted his face up to the open sky as he shut the door
behind him. Soon, soon he would be with his team once more and he
wouldn’t have
to lie again.
As he walked he remembered everything about them, his
friends, his family. He missed them but none more than his sister.
“What do we have here?”
“A bunch of cows chewing their cud,” Joey snapped
back at
them as he turned, seeing the boys sitting on dumpsters, drawling on
their
cigarettes.
“Ooh, wise guy. How bout we teach him what it means to mess
with the Blade Sharks?”
There was a grin on Joey’s lips as he stood there. The Blade
Sharks, the name rung a bell, then he remembered that was the name of
the group
that Carlos was part of, Kai’s group.
He dug into his pocket and wrapped his fingers around the
cool metal of his beyblade. The first there fell victim to his fist,
his
beyblade still clutched tightly in his fingers as the one he had hit
rubbed his
face.
A piece of hair fell in front of his face, the wild strands
splayed everywhere. “All right, which one of ya wants a piece
‘a me.”
Joey reached into his back pocket and pulled out his
shooter, fitting his beyblade into it as he threaded the rip chord
through.
“C’mon, don’t tell me ya’ll are
chicken.”
“Pretty boy,” the silky voice echoed from behind
Joey. It
caused the Inu-jin to practically jump out of his skin as the rest of
the crowd
turned and left the alleyway.
He turned and caught the crimson that was staring out at
him. His heart leapt into his throat and his beyblade dropped from his
hand.
“Kai,” the name caught in his throat as he stared
into the dark at the
beautiful man.
A flicker of shock passed through the crimson eyes at the
fact that the Inu-jin knew his name. When he had only seen him in
passing with
that lame blader who controlled a bitbeast.
The flicker was gone in a second as Kai grabbed Joey’s dingy
shirt. Joey licked his lips as he glanced up at Kai. It was about time
he
turned up the heat a little.
Joey twisted his fingers around Kai’s scarf pulling him
closer and pressed his lips against the warm pulse point.
Kai felt his muscles stiffen from the intrusion, his breath
catching in his throat with each movement.
Kai didn’t know what was controlling his every movement as
he seized Joey’s chin, pulling him up to his toes as he
lowered his head,
crushing his lips against the sensitive ones of the Inu-jin.
Joey’s mind was racing before need took over logical
thought. This was Kai, pressing against him, tentatively tasting him,
the last
logical thought on Joey’s mind was this: Typical
virgin.
Joey moved and crushed the taller boy between his body and
the cold brick wall, controlling Kai’s every move with the
fingers wrapped
through the white scarf. One hand was pressed against the plane of
muscles that
twitched under his ministrations.
Ray grinned as he saw the Inu-jin leave the house. What a
perfect moment, he would get his clothes and his needs would be sated.
He pounced as soon as he had opened the door, his tail
flicking back and forth as he tiptoed through the empty house.
Rei yawned as he tiptoed up the steps, glancing around until
he spotted Tyson once more, lying sprawled out on the bed. His eyes
narrowed as
he saw him, landing on top of the boy, his black tail waving in the
air.
Tyson tried to scream but he couldn’t as Ray sealed his
mouth over Tyson’s. Ray caressed the soft lips with his
tongue as he pressed
down against Tyson’s skin, tasting him fully, his body pushed
against the
smaller boy’s body.
Tyson gazed up at Ray through lidded eyes, panting as he
managed to escape for a breath before shoving Ray off his body and
tearing out
of his room, his mind in a panic.
Tyson’s eyes shifted back and forth as he rounded the
corner, his hand to his chest as he tried to slow his breathing. The
last thing
he had ever expected was to be hunted down by a sex maniac with a tail
in his
own home.
Joey gasped as he felt his body thrown down to a soft bed, a
wad of money pressed into his hand as his clothes were torn from his
body.
“My body ain't for sale,” Joey was silenced with a
harsh
mouth against his own, his fingers digging into the mattress below him.
This
was what he was good at, and what he would give Kai if he asked.
“That's not what everyone on the street says,”
Kai's voice
was low and silky and every time it came Joey felt his heart pound.
“So, you want to get laid that badly,” Joey's
fingers caught
hold of Kai's scarf as he pulled him down. “I'll give you a
fuck you'll never
forget.”
Kai's breath caught in his throat as he stared at the
inu-jin lying pliant beneath him, wondering briefly about what his
grandfather
would think of him now but dismissing the thought just as easily.
Joey pulled off the old t-shirt from his body, letting it
drop from his slender form as brown met crimson red. Hi eyes didn't
waver as he
slowly unbuttoned his threadbare jeans and slid them down.
Kai nearly found himself panting as more became visible
beneath him, the golden furred tail moving to tickle his inner thighs.
“Some one's impatient,” Joey muttered as he felt a
tent
forming in Kai's pants. He reached down and massaged it and was
rewarded with a
gasp. “Yes, just like that,” he whispered huskily.
He slowly reached out and undid Kai's pants, reaching in to
pull out his swelled cock with a smirk. “You've got some
growing to do,” Joey
grinned broadly as he nuzzled against the tip, listening to Kai take in
a
shuddering breath. His eyes lit up in unadulterated excitement as he
took Kai
into his mouth. There was nothing as exciting as taking a virgin for
the first
time.
Kai writhed and gasped above Joey, his face flushed beneath
the blue face paint that decorated his cheeks.
Joey pulled the pants down, arching up so Kai's tip pressed
against his quivering opening and then forced him deeper in, his tail
curled
around Kai's leg, drawing him closer.
A gasp echoed from Kai’s lips as he slowly began moving, the
muscles tightening around him as he moved with clumsy grace, thrusting
deeply
into Joey’s body as he released without warning, his pants
echoing through the
room as he pulled from Joey’s body and the inu-jin left
without another word.
