Run by Judi 'n' Lynn Lewis, this monthly (non-profit making) Folk 'n' Country Music Club was created in the merry month of May 1988 on the Kibbutz to provide a platform for both experienced and inexperience singers and players to perform in front of a friendly audience in the intimate atmosphere of the traditional (acoustic - no sound system) folk club. Performers do not get paid (not even expenses) and the small entrance fee covers the light refreshments provided to all and the free beers for the performers. AND we do have a bit of fun and make some really fine music. So come and visit us at ....

One of our "extra-curricular" activities has been to arrange the occasional picnic/jam session for the whole family.

We also feature "Special Guests" from abroad when the opportunity arises and the usual Folk Club format is abandoned and a "mini concert" is organized giving the featured artist a long set. If anyone has any suggestions for other activities, preferably for the benefit of the musical community, please contact us.

Another piece of interesting information:
Should anyone wonder why our logo shows broken musical instruments, I should point out that Tzora was the home of Samson, of Samson and Delilah fame (Judges 13 to 16). The Kibbutz logo depicts Samson dressed as a Kibbutznik, pulling down the columns of the Philistine Temple. I have taken the liberty of replacing his clothing with something a little more "country" and the columns with a guitar and banjo.
