Dapper Dan

Dapper Dan was a fine young man
Although, man, he was not
A penguin was he, who lived by the sea
That would eat any fish that he caught

He swam with the ice, trying to entice
The fish to swim into his beak
He failed so bad, and felt so sad
His future looked very bleak.

The very next night, a star came in sight
That whistled across the sky
Dapper Dan made a wish, to have a big fish
And he fell asleep with a sigh.

Morning arose, Dapper's eyes were closed
When something hit him on the tail
Dan shook off the pound, then looked around
And saw a fish as big as a whale!
The fish was aground, and did not make a sound
For the giant did not live anymore
Dan jumped up in glee for everyone could see
The HUGE, GIANT fish that he bore.
