Ateneo dethrones La Salle in Game Two
The Ateneo Blue Eagles turn back La Salle's bid for a do-or-die
Game Three by winning the second game of their championship
series in the 71st season of the UAAP.
An inspired Blue Eagle squad defeated the Green Archers, 62-51, in
a game marred by a controversial ejection of La Salle forward Rico Maierhofer
for allegedly flashing a dirty finger and JV Casio's early
exit from the game after earning five personal fouls.
Ateneo's ace blocker Nonoy Baclao was awarded Finals MVP after
contributing big to the back-to-back finals wins of the team.
