Lab Sessions

The lab work for this course is made of a 3-hour lab session per week. Each week students are given a file describing the topic to be tackled in the session, in addition to exercises and questions and hints as to the procedure recommended to solve the specified problem. A week later, at most, a report should be submitted. Click here to see the specifications for an acceptable report.

Session 0: A first encounter with Mathematica

Session 1: Nonlinear Systems (I)

Session 2: Time-Independent Perturbation Theory

Session 3: Explorations in Basic Electrostatics

Sessions 4 & 5: Some Programming Techniques Using Mathematica

Session 6: Least-Squares Curve-Fitting
