January 2004

To Whom It May Concern:

On behalf of the faculty of the Wilfrid Laurier University School of Business and Economics and the Executive Committee of its 2004 Undergraduate Business Games team, we would like to present your company with the opportunity to increase its exposure and awareness through our participation at the Undergraduate Business Games.

The Undergraduate Business Games (UBG) were created in 1992 with the purpose of fostering student growth in leadership and teamwork skills through mental and physical challenges, to partner Canadian business students with corporations, and to build communication networks between business students across Canada.  The Games feature three days of competition between over twenty of Canada's elite business schools as they strive for supremacy in academic, sporting, and social activities. This national event brings together over 1000 students from British Columbia to Newfoundland. The 13th annual Undergraduate Business Games will be held at Dalhousie University in Halifax from the 5th to the 9th of February 2004.

The Games represent a unique venue for your organization to showcase its image and will also give you a chance to build your on-campus presence by publicly showing support towards business students and their projects.  Furthermore, advertising in these games provides your organization a valuable opportunity to attract future employees.

To ensure the success of our team's performance at UBG 2004 as we strive for gold, our organizing committee needs your valuable support. We hope that you will join us and contribute to an exciting and worthwhile event that will benefit both your company and the business leaders of tomorrow.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Sincerely,

VP Sponsorship - Jeff Herlick
