Introduction
Purpose of heat exchangers:
- Promote the flow of thermal energy between two or more fluids
Applications:
- Power, Air-conditioning, Refrigeration, Heat recovery and manufacturing industries
- Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers:
Round tubes mounted in large cylindrical shell.
Cold fluid flows through tubes
Hot fluid flows on the shell side.
