Keeping young people busy

(and out of politics)

Governments throughout history and around the world have often wandered, how do we keep those annoying little brats out of our hair? In China and other communist countries they tried using tanks, in North America tear gas was once popular, and in the old days in Europe they used to send them off to war.

But in the 1960's all that seemed to fail. Young people were reading, looking at religion, and joining their parents in protests against government power. The resulting political activity lead to a decline in drug use and venerial disease, and an awareness of government's goal of power. Our goal is to stop that from repeting itself.

These are the ways we have set out to complete this goal:

1. A mythication of the sixties as a time of sex and drugs and not the spritiual and political revival it was, emphasing the liberal values of Charles Manson over those of the right wing Martin Luther King Jr.
2. Through changing the education system to encourage apathy and ignorance among the young.

This second goal is being carried out through reforms in the education system.

• Ensuring every student in the country has access to online pornography.
• Boring them out of politics by using big words that they are never taught and speaking of issues like the economy without really explaining what it is or does.
• Boring them out of religion by confusing them with conflicting doctrines and discouraging them from actively researching the religion of their parents at home.
• Replacing elaborate vocabularies that may allow intelligent discussion with swear words, computer jargon, and the latin names of extinct reptiles.
• Demonising parents, religion, opposing political parties and any other group that may teach children dogma that contradicts with government policy.
