Since the beginning of the civilized world(and possibly before) man has looked to the sky. In all those years, we have seen many things in the blue expanse up above us. Comets and meteors, strange planets, stars, and some things that we still have not positively identified. What are these Unidentified Flying Objects? Swamp gas, Venus, weather balloons? It is a given that a certain number of UFO’s can be explained after carefully researching the sighting, but what of the large number of sightings worldwide that cannot be explained. What are they?
Since the beginning of the civilized world(and possibly before) man has wondered, are we alone? In all the vastness of space, are there any other intelligent beings? When you consider the mathematical probabilities of life existing on other planets(very, very good), everything is put into perspective. Even if there is only one other planet with intelligent life, then there are aliens out there. Wouldn’t these aliens also wonder if life existed? And after exploring their planet, wouldn’t they search the heavens as we have done/are doing? So the possibility that there are aliens out there and that they are looking for other forms of life does exist.
And if these aliens were looking for other forms of life, what kind of vehicles would they travel in? We know that our current space shuttles would have to undergo massive modifications to travel to other planets. The alien space ships would have to be radical designs with advanced technology. Could the UFO’s that people around the world have seen/see be these alien space ships?
Alien spaceships, and evidence of them, have been traced as far back as the prehistoric age. Religious texts, folk tales, paintings are just a few places UFO’s are told of. The records of sightings around the world in the past 100 years is vast and extensive. With all this evidence, surely there are answers somewhere. Let’s examine just a small portion of this evidence and see if we can draw any conclusions.
UFO accounts are numerous, but some of the most fascinating ones are found in religious texts. The Christian Bible has several accounts of encounters that could be interpreted as UFO’s. A very good biblical account is that of Ezekial. In the year 593 BC, Ezekial wrote that “As I looked, behold, a stormy wind came out of the north, and a great cloud, with brightness round about it, and fire flashing forth continually, and in the midst of the fire, as it were gleaming bronze. And from the midst of it came the likeness of four living creatures. A very interesting account, that could be interpreted in several different ways. In another good account, the Old Testament prophet Elijah went into the sky in a “chariot of fire”, which could easily be a UFO. Some people also believe that Jacob’s dream of the angels climbing the ladder to heaven is based on a UFO encounter. Another good point is that at several times throughout the Bible, angels visit man. However in one case, these angels eat our food and romance our women. Odd that a being of immense power has to eat, and even more unusual that they romance women of the Earth.
The Bible is not the only text that speaks of UFO’s. A Sanskrit text, the Drona Parva, is an entire tale of UFO’s. The entire text is based on dogfights between gods. These gods are in magnificent flying machines that use "blazing missiles possessed of the radiance of smokeless fire." as weapons. A battle for planet Earth, a dreamers vision, or the tale of a drunk? Many writings of UFO’s have been accused of being these things, but the similarities are so startling that even the most dumb and slow witted of us draw conclusions.
There is also evidence of UFO’s in art work. In paintings of the Virgin Mary and the crucifixion of Christ, there are unusual objects in the night sky in the background. There are cave paintings throughout the world that depict strange objects streaking across our sky. UFO’s are even the main subjects of some paintings.
Folk tales are also another source of information on UFO’s. From the vaguely detailed
campfire stories designed to scare us, to the more sophisticated tales(the Chinese tell of strange men
with 3 eyes who fly through the night sky), UFO’s have been woven into our society. The information
that these tales provide, the pictures in artwork, and the writings of ancient scholars all point in similar
directions. With careful examination, and logically drawn conclusions, you could very easily answer,
UFO’s(Alien Spaceships): Do Exist.
