Break out of frames
Rebecca's grave has been moved aside
so rails could be built to move Wyoming
coal to Ohio furnaces and Illinois fires.
Her relatives attended the transfer of her
remains from the railroad right-of-way,
traveling from Utah to bless the new grave.
Peacefully she slept for 140 years but
the coal was there before she, too young, heard
Brother Brigham's call to salt, sainthood, and salvation..
A monument marks the new grave
Many pass on U.S. 26; few stop to read of this
Mormon girl, her life and death on the plains.
