Fianna Camps / Branches

Within our blood is a bond to Gaia, a song that fills us with such love of life around us that we must live it and sing it. It is our tie to the promises our ancestors made with our allies. It is a bond of trust that ties us to the very land. This is why we are the caretakers of the land, sworn to protect and help the land.

Throughout the years as the Fianna have travelled around the globe, we have divided ourselves again and again. These divisions learned new ways to protect the land and hearing the inflections of the song learning new secrets.

Whispering Rovers
Descended from the Anicent Celtic Gauls of Europe, the Rovers were the first of the Fianna to split from the Tribe settling in Britanny and the anicent forests of Europe. They have learned the secrets of earth, of path finding. They have also over the ages learned the lay of the land of the European continent. The rovers are the ever sought for Scouts in any war party.

Brotherhood of Herne
The second splinter group from the Tribe settled in the lands of Albion. As time passed their blood coursed through the veins of the local people, their pride of the land is unequal. The Brothers believe in protecting Britain at all costs and hunt down the Wyrm where ever it lives. The Brotherhood tend to be very loyal to the british ideals no matter how ridiculous they may be. Such fierce loyalty has made them enemies to the Irish Fianna especially those of Fionn.  Their passion is warfare as they learned the bitter lessons from the invading Romans.

Dryn a drowd yn flaidd (Welsh Fianna)
At the same time the Fianna kin staying in Britain, another group sought the western lands of Britain now known as Wales. The Dryn a drowd yn flaidd have hidden themselves and are a remote lot. They hold the most of the lupus sanctuaries and they are the most secretive more so than the Rovers.

Scottish Fianna
While travelling through Albion, the Fianna met resistance of Garou who lived on the land before their arrive. The White Howlers fought hard against them. one family branch continued the fight northwards to the highlands of Scotland. At some point they befriended the White Howlers and their descendants share some of the Howler blood. The Scottish Fianna are a fierce lot. They mourn the loss of the Howlers so much so that they eradicate the Black Spiral Dancers a mockery of a proud race.

Tuatha de Fionn (Children of Finn)
Our tribe finally reached the shores of Erin the land of the Fey. The Children of Finn beieve themselves to be the distant relatives of the faeries. Every seven years they go to the Umbra to commune at the Arcadia Gateway. The Tuatha know many secrets of the Fey and they hold many of the oldest Celtic traditions, even a few forgotten ones.

Grandchildren of Fionn

Fionn Mac Cumhail, the anicent hero of Erin, and there are some who want to live the legend. These individuals formed the band of Fionn, and they are a rough lot seeking for a cause to fight for and prove themselves to the world. they want to be the next legend and if there's a fight or two along the way, well why not join in.

Eire Fundamentalists
The Fundamentalists dispise the state of the human incursion in the world. They want the old Impergium and they will not have it any other way. Kinfolk beware crossign these Fianna as there will be no mercy. Far more worrying, this branch do not believe in the 'Veil.'

Children of Dire
The Children of Dire are strictly a Lupus camp.  Despite being known as the fiercest warriors, there are not many wolves left. But those who have survived the ages are the toughest. When they hunt they prefer to be in Hispo. They know only violence and they are cunning bastards. No Mercy, No Cowardice for these are signs of weakness. But they have the most wonderous of songs so pure and rich with life.

The Songkeepers
The Songkeepers are a loose knit camp. Primarily of Galliards, they have other auspices and even other tribes. They are the travelling bards, protectors of stories, messengers hoping to add to the Silver Record. They are universally respected by all and no one refuses them a place at the fire.
