We are always looking to recruit females over the age of 18 to work as Party Organisers for us. We require organisers in all areas of the country so if you are interested please read the information below which will hopefully answer most of the questions you may have about how Ann Summers organisers work.
Q. Do I have to buy my kit?
A. No. Ann Summers rent you a kit valued at approx. £500 which you return if you leave. Kit rental is £3.50 a week until you have banked £1200 (approximately 7-8 parties) or for 32 weeks max. After this the kit is yours to use for free for as long as you work for Ann Summers and you return it when you leave.
A. It is entirely up to you. You work as often as you want to and on the nights you want to. The more parties you do, the more money you earn.
A. The best people to ask at first are your friends, family, neighbours and colleagues as they’re usually willing to help you get going. You can always hold a home party and invite whoever you want and then get them all to book parties. You can go canvassing in town centres to find new people to hold parties. When you hold your parties you will find guests that want to book parties with you and this keeps your business going.
A. This depends on how much you sell. You earn approximately 23% on party orders (This works out that you earn £55 at an average £240 party for approximately 3 hours work)
A. YES. You receive a 30% staff discount on anything you order from the day you start.
A. Deliveries are free, most stationary is free or has a small charge (e.g. 3p per 25 order forms) to prevent people ordering more than they need. Catalogues are charged at approx. 3p each after discount but can be reused from party to party. If you leave the company before you have stopped paying kit rental you will be charged a £10 admin. fee to cover the cost of sending and retrieving your kit, paperwork, etc. Otherwise there are no hidden charges at all.
A. Yes. We have plenty of company, area, and unit competitions happening all the time to win various prizes including holidays, electrical goods, vouchers, cuddly toys, etc. Your Unit Organiser will give you details of all current competitions and help you to achieve them.
A. You will have an initial training which explains how to use your kit and you have the choice of attending a party with another organiser to see what to do. After that there is one unit meeting per month where you meet the rest of the team, swap tips and ideas, find out about new competitions, gossip and (most importantly) collect all your prizes.
A. Yes. Everyone who joins has the chance and opportunity for promotion to unit organiser whenever they want. Once you are a Unit Organiser you receive full support of your Unit Organiser and Area Manager and have the chance to get yourself a company car. Ask for more information.
