Early Saturday, October 15, members went to the Woodford County farm, located in Versailles, to prepare for LNA. There was much to be done with decorations, preparing the show ring, and the cooking of our delicious chili. Pledges arrived early to prepare their animals for the show. The best showman of each species received a banner for winning and then competed against the other winning showmen to be awarded Supreme showman. Coaches of each group of pledges decided on the hardest working pledge in their group and gave them a Herdsman award. Actives also participated in showing the animals after the pledges had completed their classes, and were given showmen awards.
