| I had made a proposal about the need to turn art toward people outside the confines of galleries A proposal which was supported by Brid Dukes at a meeting of art organizers based in the MidWest. In response, I arranged 'Art in The Windows', and my contribution was a series of large scale drawings of black and white Friesian cows placed on the inside of the display windows of Ormstons. It was as if a herd of cows were in the building as people milled to and fro along the streets outside. It happens that in 1993, EVA featured artwork in up to 8 venues outside the City Gallery. | |||||||||
