What Jonathan Says to part 1: And so we begin with yet another serious issue from the world of Ultimate Spider-Man! The story begins with young Harry Osborn waking up in his bed after hearing a scream of his name. He runs out of his bedroom to find his father's mansion a light with flames. The he finds his dead mother in the corner but she has not been killed by the flames she has scares all over her and half of her arm is ripped away! Then, after realising something in the corner of his eye, Harry looks up in astonishment as a giant monster looks down upon him with a hand of flame. The flames from this unidentified beast come soaring towards Harry and send him flying backwards. Haryy jumps to his feet and runs out of the mansion screaming for help. And as he does, he says the monster flying towards the moonlight.
In the last issue we were left with Peter coming home to a house full of cops and this is explained as Aunt May is talking to an officer with Peter by her side. She explains how a villain had broken into the house and Uncle Ben had confronted the man telling him that the house had no money in it. The thief then shot Uncle Ben dead with one shot....

Peter sets off after hearing a radio call to an officer saying that they had the suspect cornered in an old disused factory. Peter, now dressed as Spider-Man, finds the villain and... what happens next? Read on to part 2...
What Jonathan Says to part 2: And so the story concludes from where the last part finished. Spider-Man has a fist fight untill he realises... that face... the villains face belongs to the same as the one Spidey had left after seeing himn commit a petty crime! Spider-Man could have stopped the killing of his Uncle Ben but didn't! Spider-man is tempted to kill the villain, as he easily could, but instead throws him out to the cops which are surrounding the area. And so everything has changed for the young Peter Parker, he realises now that the power he has is for a reason and so he puts it into action and searches the streets for any crimes and puts a stop to them at an instant. On the way back home after a night on the road, Peter bumps into Mary who tells him to come stay at her house as that is where his Aunt May is. He brakes down in her arms... this is the worst day of his life... literally.
