Description

Background

Ethan is a gruff old man who is not used to following rules. He is very straightforward and has a tendency to lecture his youngers.

For a man his age, Ethan keeps in very good shape. He follows a strict exersize regimen and is careful about what he eats. His clothing and manner of dress is conservative, but outdated. Ethan keeps his white hair close cropped and his full beard well trimmed.

As a result of his covert SAS work while the psi-orders were still secret (or very young), Ethan mistrusts the psi-orders and Aeon.

Ethan McBrogue grew up in a bad neighborhood in Scotland. By the time he was fifteen, he was the top fighter in his block and ran the local gang of hoodlums. He might have grown up to be a punk, but luckily his talents were noticed by a local cop (whom Ethan ran into on many occasions). This officer had a brother in the British army and he convinced (threatened) Ethan to enlist.

The army was perfect for Ethan who excelled at nearly everything he was taught (more due to willpower and interest then smarts). He quickly made it into the Army's elite Special Air Service (SAS) Corps. There he traveled around the solar system going on great adventures. Sadly, covert operations often have a shady side, and this grated on Ethan's conscience. By 2019 he could stomach no more.

Ethan set out on his own as a mercenary, investigator and troubleshooter.

Ethan has a Avenger Class Tactical VARG armor. It has the jumppack and camoflauge options. When in the VARG, Ethan typically carries a L-K Netlauncher s9-MT and a belt-fed Stavros flechette carbine (use Scorpion stats).

Ethan normally carries a well worn L-K Avenger 11mm from his SAS days in an equally worn hip holster.

Ethan typically wears an armored vest (1/3) as a part of life. He has reinforced clothes (0/2) for special occasions.
