Orgotek Biocookware |
Most people like to focus on the benefits of sexy bioware such as spacecraft and weaponry, but they often forget that bioware can help out in the most mundane of roles. Few things illustrate this like Orgotek's line of bio-cookware. Biotech cookware makes a lot of sense, it is durable, self cleaning and (thanks to biotech matrices) cheap to mass produce. Orgotek Biocookware is endorsed by Fletch Masters, Master Chef. |

Bio Toaster The bio-toaster is more a toaster oven / microwave then a mere toaster. Rows of IR producing cells work with a labyrinthine complex of exothermic digestive tubes to cook food in a variety of ways. Power for this reaction can come from a special bio-paste (sold separately) or from kitchen refuse (doubles as a garbage disposal). Formatting a bio-toaster gives the cook +2 to cooking roles. Similarly, the cook will intuitively know when food is done cooking and never burns their food. Tech: Bio, Mass: 3, Tolerance: 1, Cost: 2 Cut-o-matic The cut-o-matic is a cutting board with six lightweight articulated blades of various sizes. These can be set into a rhythmic cutting motion and set to "automatic" leaving the chef free to do other things. Formatting allows the psion to control these blades more precisely, and without manually setting them (+2 to cooking for cutting rolls). As an interesting note, technology for this bio-app came heavily from Orgotek's Spider Harness. Tech: Bio, Mass: 2, Tolerance: 1, Cost: 3 Industrial Bio Toaster This is similar to the bio-toaster, but is about the size of a large commercial oven. It provides the same benefits as the smaller version in a more commercially feasible package. Tech: Bio, Mass: 35, Tolerance: 2, Cost: 4 |
