The Umass Lowell Dance Team was formed in 2003 for students to meet in appreciation for the art of dance and strives to promote school spirit. The team focuses on hip hop based dance and they perform at UML Men and Women's basketball games, Men's rugby games,at UMass Lowell's Spring Carnival, the Lowell Spinners Baseball games, and other school events. The Dance Team also has worked with the Lazarus house in various community service projects as well as at a local soup kitchen. The team meets at least twice a week throughout the year for practice. The UML Dance Team has been recognized as a "tasteful professional performance team" as well as leaders in supporting UMass Lowell.

The Dance Team is holding a free open practice for all UML students and High School Jr.s and Sr.s on Thursday, May 10th at 6pm in the Rec Center Studio 1. We will also be holding a $3 car wash Friday, May 11th from 11:00 am-3:00pm in the Rec Center Circle. Be there!!!!!
