NEW OWNER FURIOUS OVER ROAD 'VACATION'

Aug 12, 2001 WINNIPEG, MB - The new owner of the CanSFL Blue Bombers expressed outrage over what he called "incompotent scheduling by head office".

At a press conference held today in Ottawa, Mr. Yost was clearly upset with a 6 week, a full month and a half road trip the team is presently enduring. "How can we honestly play to 100% when our players will not see their own beds for over a month? Is anyone surprised we dropped a game to the Villains when we were heavily favoured to win?"

He further pointed out that the team would remain on the road from August 3rd to August 27th straight playing away games in the Eastern Conference. Ken also expressed dismay over a 6 week homestand, which he felt would depress ticket sales and be unfair to teams coming to Winnipeg.

He concluded the press conference by promising the reporters that no team would recieve such shabby scheduling in 2002.
