Gulliver's Travels Jonathan Swift
Discuss This Book

--Like the title implies, this book is aboout the travels of a man named Gulliver. It is, however, a fictional novel. Swift relates several travel experiences of Gulliver, which bring Gulliver, and the reader, to strange places. Included in this novel are people no taller than six inches, giants, which make Gulliver appear near six inches tall, a floating island, with strange inhabitants, and speaking horses who govern an island full of savage, human-like beasts named "yahoos". Each place Gulliver travels to helps the reader take a fresh look at humanity. The book is entertaining, and will create vivid images in the mind of the reader. I enjoyed reading it.
