IT Stephen King
Discuss This Book

--I found IT to be a highly involved book.. It's about seven kids growing up in Derry Maine who unconsciously come together for a common purpose. Through their friendship, their "Loser's Club" and a power foreign to them, they realize that their purpose is to kill the "IT" that has taken their leader's younger brother, along with several other kids in Derry.

Meanwhile, The book is also telling the reader about these kids' lives when they've long since grown up and forgotten IT, but IT hasn't forgotten them... They are all called back to Derry Maine to kill the IT that they'd hoped they'd killed when they were just 11 years old... But when they're adults going against this child monster, they're not sure they can do it because they may have lost too much of that child innocence, that blind beleif that the tooth fairy is just as real as the boogie man.

I liked this book because I saw it as more of a drama than a horror novel... but it's the horror part that brings the seven individuals together to create the drama. ENJOY!
