Berlin Underground, 1938-1945 Ruth Andreas Friedrich

--Berlin Underground, 1938-1945 is a non-fiiction biographical journal kept by Ruth between 1938 and 1945, in Nazi Berlin, Germany. She gives a fresh and honest view about the true view of the average German citizen toward Nazi control.

Ruth and her group of friends and sometimes new acquaintences work underground to help those in need. I truly enjoyed about the Holocaust through the eyes of a regular German citizen. Ruth and those like her help to reclaim a positive reputation for the people of Germany, during Nazi Germany.

I was so inspired by Ruth's roomate, Andrik, that I have since named my computer "Andrik" in his memory. (Unfortunately my computer is incapable of living up to Andrik's name).

I highly recommend this honest and refreshing look at lives of German people during the Holocaust.
