MOON
by Chrissy Engstrom

The Moon rises.
Night wraps himself
Around the golden Sun...
Estinguishes the Light.

City walls cloaked in
black fog, sleep for the
Night.

Owls dance a silent dance,
in slumbering
trees, The crickets
singing for the stars.

At last the Moon
sets, making way once more
for Morning.
Moon releases
His Prisoner...
the Sun rises.
